Day 2 - SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition

We are uWinLoop, a student team from the University of Windsor. With 20 students, of which here at the Hyperloop competition today. During the duration we will compete against 21 other universities throughout various parts of the world in the 2019 SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition in Los Angeles, California.

The team continues to adjust and make significant improvements to their pod while looking to meet the standards of SpaceX in order to compete in the 1.6 km long test tube track. The goal of this year’s competition is to prove that our current innovative technology of the Linear Induction Motor works and is feasible in transitioning the future to be more sustainable. Not only is SpaceX interested in how we will utilize this technology but we have also attracted interest from multiple other competing schools.

Throughout the remainder of the week there will be various challenges put in front of us as SpaceX meets strict requirements in order to compete due to safety reasons.
